Candied Wonderland

Ack, the lack of updates to this blog makes me feel bad xD I didn't quite ditch it, I've just been too preoccupied with stuffs to worry about updating.

So the contacts I ordered back in October have arrived at last :D! I have yet to take pictures of me wearing them, not sure if I ever will. They were originally for cosplay but I ended up wearing my blue ones for every-day purposes. My gray colored ones are still in the glass bottles. OTL;;;

I've been pretty obsessed with playing my PSP lately. With games like Dissidia, Project Diva: Hatsune Miku, Patapon, and Phantasy Star Portable, I kind of neglect basically everything else, including school work... That's not exactly a very good thing OTL.

But I'll save my life rants for my other blog 8'D

I have lots of WIPs that I should post up here. I'll get to that when I'm not feeling lazy....whenever that will be.

Ever since I first saw them sometime last year, I've always wanted to buy those Korean Circle Lenses though, only for cosplay purposes XD

Sadly, I wasn't able to buy them in time for NYAFsince I couldn't find a site where they sold the prescription for my left eye ;-; It was pretty disappointing.

But I've recently ordered two pairs from a site tht actually had my perscription! Totally excited and I hope to post pictures of how they'll look on me while I do a really quick cosplay test with them <3

Oh, and I totally found a new addiction/procrastination source; Granado Espada *w* Anybody else play it o3o?!

I was going to play the NA version which was renamed Sword of the New World. But I found the SEA version seemed to have a nicer community and was a little more up to date compared to the NA version >W<

I have been waiting for what seemed like forever for Ragnarok Online 2 to arrive and even went as far as to find and play on a private server. But for now I'll settle for GE (which is by the same creators as RO XD)

School is killing me so I'm still updating slowly, and I haven't drawn anything that has brought me enough satisfaction to post up here ;A;

 I haven't gotten to posting any more art here besides the Taiwan picture sadly. But I haven't drawn anything worthwhile. I think I'm on another artist block again...

In anycase, as per requested, I fished through my folders to find a cosplay picture that I really liked to post here. Though, the more I look at it, the more sadder I become. It makes me realize how much a failure I am when it comes to cosplaying as Allen ;___;

Though, I do hope to improve one day. My problems are lack of posing, make up trouble, and wig styling. Though I don't think my Allen wig requires much because making it look like flat on my head.

Ick.

I wanna do a Hetalia cosplay sometime this year. Though I'd love it if I could get someone to cosplay with me ;-; I got my sister into cosplaying, actually. It was rather odd since she didn't seem like the type to be interested in this kind of stuff.

Though, I did plan on cosplaying as China, I wanted my sister to be Taiwan, but she doesn't want to be a Hetalia chatacter D:<

Fft, nothing to worry about however. I planned on cosplaying as US/Alfred first anyway (BECAUSE I'M A HERO!)

I really haven't updated in the longest time due to school. But I have yet to abandon this art blog of mine, yet xD

Senior year has been quite hectic for me, but omg, I just experienced my first anime con :'DD~!!

I only stayed for an hour though at NYAF this year and I'm not quite sure if I will be going next year though. Hopefully, if I do go, I'll stay for more than an hour and improve on my Allen cosplay.

I didn't really buy much from the convention except for a yaoi manga 8'D~! A little gift from my mommy even though she has no idea what the hell yaoi is xD

I was sad that I totally missed me chance of getting a yaoi paddle. In fact, the table selling them was right behind me and I didn't realize it until I was like looking through all of my pictures from that day.

I feel like a blind idiot.

But I met a lot of nice people at the con and got some really nice pictures on my iPhone for memory xD I bet I look kind of retarded though in the pictures people took of me for my lack of posing. I'm a failure of a cosplayer.

But I was kind of happy since during the time I was there, I was the only Allen in his third uniform. Haha. I felt kind of special.

I even got to hug random people and waved in front of a recording camera. I wonder if that'll be on youtube, lmao xDD;;
